This 3-week session will offer students the opportunity to learn about animals, the
people who care for them, and the amazing things they can do.
The first week, Tree House Wildlife Center will introduce us to some of the animals they are rehabilitating during a presentation on our Calvary campus. Week two will include a visit from some incredible therapy and service dogs as we learn more about the work they do. During our third and final January session, we will take a field trip to the Audubon Center of the Riverlands where students will have the opportunity to view Bald Eagles, Trumpeter Swans, and other wildlife.
Coats and gloves are suggested, and sack lunches will be needed for this field trip.

In February, students will experience an overview of theater including acting for the
stage, pantomime, stage directions, improvisation, projection, articulation, and
introduction to stage combat.

Students will learn the basics of landscaping that will include learning various species of
plants, and how to design, plant and care for landscaping. Students will visit a local
nursery to shop for plants, and each student will receive a plant to care for.

On April 7, students will travel to Pere Marquette State Park to enjoy a morning of
fishing, hiking, and play. The following week, students will visit Rothe Farms in
Brighton, where they will experience a working farm, explore the equipment,
